The Amoroso Zimmermann brand was born from the thirty-year experience of scenographers, sculptors, goldsmiths and designers Giovanna Amoroso and Istvan Zimmermann, and their team of developers and creators working in the world of luxury and contemporary art.

A long love story with beauty, which was born in Florence, continued in Paris and finally put down roots in the medieval city of Cesena, in Emilia-Romagna, where their Plastikart studio started designing bespoke works of art, objects, installations and automations for the most important contemporary artists, designers, architects and directors.

They have gathered a great number of collaborations with the great brands of Made in Italy – in luxury and beyond – such as Prada, Armani, Gucci, Romeo Castellucci, Renzo Piano, Dante Ferretti, Peter Marino, Societas Raffaello Sanzio and Luigi Serafini. Their craftsmanship and artistic expertise was involved in the installations designed for the Gucci Garden in Florence, for Romeo Castellucci’s stage automatons, for the London showroom of Louis Vuitton and for the fine prototypes of Maison Hermès.

The Amoroso Zimmermann signature is therefore the natural continuation of this life-long experience, linked to their Plastikart studio, and aimed at pursuing of beauty, both in its most unexpected and sculptural forms. It is imbued with the peculiar characteristics of italian design: a mix of craftsmanship, art and engineering, audacity and elegance, creativity and quality of materials.
